GAME has announced plans to open a number of its stores at midnight to celebrate this month’s launch of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited and Batman: Arkham Knight. 76 stores will open their doors at 11pm next Monday, June 8 for the PS4 and Xbox One launch of Bethesda’s MMORPG, with 299 stores set to open at midnight on June 23 for the arrival of Arkham Knight. “June is shaping up to be a really exciting month for new releases, giving gamers the chance to stock up on some great titles for the summer months,” said managing director Charlotte Knight....

Rumours of a GoldenEye 007 remake have swirled for some time, though we’ll likely have to wait a while longer to see the game announced. The ongoing effects of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine have left the project’s announcement in “limbo”, Venturebeat’s Jeff Grubb has said, writing on Twitter that “GoldenEye is still in limbo because of the war”. Today Sony Interactive Entertainment and Polyphony Digital released a new update for Gran Turismo 7, numbered 1.07. The update introduced a “Broadcast Mode” in the sound volume settings that basically opts out of all the licensed music tracks that could cause a copyright strike or claim when you’re livestreaming the game or publishing footage. On top of that, there are several fixes to multiple modes within the game. Reportedly, the credits prizes for some events have also been changed, albeit the patch notes make no mention of that....

Rockstar has finally returned Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition to PC after taking it down over the weekend and leaving many unable to play. Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V has returned to the top of the UK All Formats video game chart, having last led the list some 23 weeks ago, reports ChartTrack.
