Arkham Knight famously had such a disastrous PC launch that the game had to be pulled from sale. As such, any subsequent Batman game on PC was going to be eyed with a great deal of uncertainty. Does Gotham Knights have a better PC port than Arkham Knight launched with? Absolutely! Does that mean it’s good? Not even close! The game is definitely playable and I have yet to see anything game-breaking, as I haven’t come across quests that wouldn’t progress or invisible enemies like some other players have....

PC users are struggling with Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, after Rockstar took down their launcher just hours after the games launched. Guillermo del Toro, director of Pacific Rim and co-director of the cancelled Silent Hills, has said “F**K KONAMI” shortly after the release of the newest trailer for Hideo Kojima’s upcoming game Death Stranding. Taking to Twitter this afternoon, del Toro quoted a tweet from The Game Awards featuring a link to the new trailer, before adding the words “F**K KONAMI”. He later tweeted “VIVA KOJIMA” and “Well deserved, Kojima-San! Banzai!” in response to Kojima receiving the award for Industry Icon at last night’s show....

Halo 5’s Forge mode is heading to Windows 10 PC on September 8, Microsoft has announced. The map-making software will be available to download for free via the Microsoft Store and lets players create new levels, maps “and experiences” that can be played across both PC and Xbox One. The PC version includes support for 4K resolution and mouse and keyboard controls, plus the option to play custom matches with up to 16 people....

At X019 343 Industries revealed that development of Halo: Reach for PC was coming to its conclusion. The game, which will be released both standalone and as part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC, officially launches on December 3. The game would arrive in 2019, just as promised. But while a release date is set and 343 Industries sounds confident in its plans, it’s also admitting that some PC-specific features may not be ready in time for launch....

The Halo TV series from Showtime is finally gaining some momentum, as the show has confirmed most of its cast as well as a release window for its series premiere. As announced by Showtime, the Halo TV series will premiere in the first quarter of 2021, with filming expected to start later this year. As for the cast, we already knew that Orange is the New Black and The Wire star Pablo Schreiber is playing Master Chief, but now some other important roles have been cast as well....

Showtime’s live-action Halo TV show is coming into focus with the casting of several major characters. During the TCA press tour presentation, Showtime revealed Californication alum Natasha McElhone will voice Cortana, per GameSpot. The character is an important companion to Master Chief in the original video game series. McElhone will also portray Dr. Catherine Halsey, who’s responsible for the Spartan supersoldier program that created Master Chief; Cortana is actually based on a copy of Halsey’s brain....

With the cancellation of E3 this year, we may miss out on a lot of reveals and announcements, and apparently that list included Harry Potter and Batman games. Of course, we can probably expect those announcements still to happen in a different fashion. Several companies have already confirmed they are looking into digital events to replace the usual press conferences. However, according to Kotaku news editor Jason Schreier, E3 2020 could’ve seen a press conference from Warner Bros....

Dishonored: Definitive Edition has been spotted on the Brazilian classifications website, suggesting Bethesda’s stealth action title could be on the way to PS4 and Xbox One. The listing reveals very little besides a 2015 date, but given the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 has already had a Game of the Year Edition, we can’t see another re-release happening for the last-gen systems. A current-gen release would also help build interest in the franchise ahead of a reveal for Dishonored 2....

Hitman has been delayed until March 2016, IO Interactive has announced. The game had previously been due to launch on PS4, Xbox One and PC on December 8. The delay will let the developer include more content at launch than initially planned, and “make absolutely sure” that players get the best experience possible. More details on the game’s full release schedule, presumably including the amount of content players will have access to at launch, will be revealed next week....

The developer of the Hitman series, IO Interactive, has today announced that a new project reveal is right around the corner. The team took to Twitter to announce the news, with an image rather scarce on information. While the announcement of an announcement (annoying, we know) doesn’t say much, we do get timings. The new IO Interactive project will be revealed tomorrow, November 19. If you want to be the first to know, you better set that alarm....

It’s taken some time but Epic has now fixed the Fortnite Battle Royale under map exploit which allowed players to shoot other players from under the map. For more than 24 hours Fortnite players have been attempting to play the game only to find themselves being shot by someone they couldn’t see thanks to this exploit. Thankfully, Epic has now applied a fix and players should no longer be able to glitch under the Battle Royale map....

Fortnite Season 7 has not been short of in-game rewards and cosmetics. The battle pass is filled with alien-themed cosmetics, as well as some crossovers. Also, the Rift Tour gave players the chance to unlock more rewards through in-game challenges. Now, Epic Games has launched an event that focuses on playing with your friends. Participating in the Fortnite Best Friendzy event will allow you to get your hands on some free rewards....

Every month, Fortnite Crew members get access to exclusive rewards. In September, subscribers will see the Burning Wolf skin and related cosmetics added to their inventory. Now, Epic Games has announced a further reward for long term subscribers. The Fortnite Crew Legacy set will launch on August 31 and it includes a back bling and a pickaxe for you to unlock. Each month that you have an active subscription, you will unlock new stages for your Fortnite Crew Legacy bundle....
