With Goat Simulator 3 coming soon-ish, gamers around the world are preparing to wreak havoc once more on unsuspecting humans and their things. Following the announcement at Summer Game Fest and the gameplay reveal at Gamescom, I had some time to sit at the controls of my very own goat in Cologne. The demo had multiplayer enabled, so I was able to enjoy (and devastate) the bucolic world of the game alongside other players, destroying everything together or playing pranks on each other....

Google has confirmed plans to release a “self-serve” tool that will make its proprietary Stadia controller function on other platforms via Bluetooth. This hopefully means that the controller - which is currently locked so it only connects to Google’s cloud gaming service, Stadia - will still be usable even after Google shutters Stadia later this week. “We’ve also got Bluetooth news: next week we’ll be releasing a self-serve tool to enable Bluetooth connections on your Stadia Controller,” the official Stadia Twitter account tweeted last night....

Rebellion has purchased all assets and intellectual property rights related to Woolfe – The Red Hood Diaries, which had been left in limbo following the bankruptcy of GRIN. Woolfe was successfully crowd-funded on Kickstarter by GRIN, but only one volume was released and many backers were left without the rewards they had paid for. The good news for backers is that Rebellion intends to honour these Kickstarter rewards. “We’re really keen to do the right thing by the Woolfe backers,” explained Jason Kingsley, Rebellion’s CEO and Creative Director....

The next-generation release of GTA V and GTA Online is almost here, and Rockstar Games is more than ready to help players transition from PS4 and Xbox One consoles. This news came by way of a recent press release, which detailed all of the player-friendly features and hardware improvements fans can expect from moving over to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. One key detail they stressed is that they want to make sure that players can transfer all of their content over seamlessly....

Developer Arc System Works has announced that upcoming beat-em-up Guilty Gear: Strive will be getting an open beta for fans to get their hands on later this month, ahead of the full release this April. As per the announcement, those who have already pre-ordered the digitial version of the game on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 will be able to download the beta first, from February 18 at 3am UK time, then everyone else will be granted access a day later on February 19 at 3am and it’ll be available until February 21 at 3pm GMT....

When a new entry in a fighting game series is about to release, the previous game usually fades into the background. Which is understandable after all. The new hotness always gets the most attention and excitement. This doesn’t mean that older games stop getting played of course. Teachers in a Polish high school have used Half-Life: Alyx to teach maths, science, and languages lessons remotely due to the pandemic (via UploadVR). The staff of SzkoÅ‚a 33 started to experiment with virtual reality lessons only five days after online learning became mandatory due to the lockdown in Poland. Collaborating with local media company OFFshot, six VR sessions for a number of school subjects. Inside the game, the teachers use the pens and blackboards dotted around City 17 to draw out diagrams and spell vocabulary....

Speaking during an interview with Fandom (via PST), Hangar 13’s Vice President of Development Andy Wilson confirmed the studio is busy beavering away on a brand new project. Perhaps surprisingly, Wilson confirmed that the company is not making another entry in the mobster action franchise, but rather, a ‘surprising’ new IP. While details are still thin on the ground, he did rule out a battle royale title: ‘That’s not what we’re really about,’ said Wilson....

E3 has been canceled. While that may not come as a major shock to those that have been paying attention to the various events canceled as of late, it does mean that some major announcements may need to be rescheduled, or even worse, may not happen at all. Unfortunately, that may be the case with the rumored Harry Potter RPG. Warner Bros., the company behind Harry Potter, Batman, and lots more, was planning a press conference for E3, which will no longer happen due to the coronavirus....

Its Summer Game Fest time, and things have been kicked off with a trip into outer space. Yes, we have our first look at Dead Space 4. Sorry, I mean The Callisto Protocol (easy mistake to make). As you would expect, it is a bloody horror filled rampage against some pretty ugly looking fellas. I am talking limbs coming off left, right and centre. There is also a look at a gravity gun in use, and our protagonist stomping down on a felled enemy’s corpse (because you just would if that thing came at you!...

Following the resounding success and controversial reaction to Death Stranding, celebrated game director Hideo Kojima has apparently begun work on his next project. According to the famed gaming industry figure’s Twitter account, Kojima considered going to see the film Last Christmas on Christmas Eve. However, rather than watch Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding on the big screen, he ended up beginning his next project instead. Two photos were included in the Tweet....

There are different ways to kill them both for example make Carl Ingram Play Golf, or for Marcus, there are options like kick him out of the balcony by finding his replacement bodyguard or electrocute him. You can also both the targets at the same time by calling up a fake meeting....

The developers behind upcoming fantasy adventure Forspoken are listening to feedback and adjusting the game accordingly. In a recent preview with Game Informer, creative producer Raio Mitsuno addressed the concerns many had about the dialogue, and its frequency, between protagonist Frey and her cuff companion (who is simply known as Cuff). “Those kinds of things we’re looking at in terms of fine-tuning the frequency, making sure that it’s not to the point where it feels overwhelming, but we want to make sure it’s timed nicely,” said Mitsuno....

Today Square Enix released an extensive gameplay trailer and new artwork of its upcoming action JRPG Forspoken. The trailer follows Frey as she performs a quests in search of smithing tools that will allow a crafter to create an accessory out of special ore. We get to see Cipal the last remaining haven where the surviving people of Athia take refuge from the devastating calamity named the “Break.” It basically serves as a hub for quests, information seeking, and trading....

It’s become nothing short of commonplace for patches to be regularly released for games both big and small. At this point, it’s pretty much expected. But, what isn’t expected is a patch for a demo. Well, Playground Games has just gone against the status quo in that regard by rolling out a patch for the demo version of Forza Horizon 4. While it is still strange for the demo version of a game to get a patch, it’s great that the team over at Playground Games acted quickly and addressed these issues....

Hey, if Fortnite and Call of Duty can have a battle royale, then… why can’t Forza? At least, that’s what Playground Games thinks. Tomorrow, the developer will introduce a new mode to Forza Horizon 4 called The Eliminator. With it, players can test their driving skills as they compete in races and try to be the last car standing. So, how does The Eliminator work? The mode begins with 72 players entering a race at the same time....
