Warner Bros. has some truly big games in the works right now. You’ve got Gotham Knights, the Batman-family beat ’em up that we’re champing at the bit to play. Then there’s Hogwarts Legacy, an open-world action RPG set in the Harry Potter universe. The company even has Rocksteady’s upcoming Suicide Squad game, which is the one to be most hyped about. I’m sure many of you are tickled pink by the idea of seeing these games show up at this year’s online E3 event....

You read that right, a film sequel to the 2018 anime SSSS. Gridman has been announced called Gridman Universe. However, that’s only a piece of the new film. The film will also incorporate SSSS. Dynazenon and unite the original casts of both. The new film will once again be handled by Studio Trigger which created those two anime as well as Darling in the Franxx and Kill la Kill. All we currently know as far as a release date goes is that the Gridman Universe film will be coming sometime in 2023....

This past weekend Irvine, California was host to the ArcRevo America 2019 finals, which saw competitors duking it out for big cash prizes in all of Arc System Work’s biggest titles including Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2, Blazblue Central Fiction, Under Night In-BIrth EXE: Late[st], and Blazblue Cross Tag Battle, which will have 9 new DLC characters for the newest version releasing this Thursday. After the Grand Finals for Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 ended, which saw Omito and his Johnny take home the $20,000 grand prize, the crowd was treated to a brand new trailer for the upcoming Guilty Gear title....

Halo games have been coming to PC with fewer and fewer intervals in-between lately. Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, the latest to land on The Master Chief Collection for PC, landed just in March. Today, 343 Industries and friends have revealed that the next game is only a week away. Halo 2: Anniversary will be available on Steam and Xbox Game Pass for PC via The Master Chief Collection on May 12....

Hitman 3 launched a new roadmap today to mark the start of the Season of Pride. Along with the release of the new Pride DLC, fans will receive new contracts, targets, exclusive items, and more during the rest of May and the start of June. Magic is at the core of Forspoken. Athia is an other-world full of wonder and mysticism and evil sorceresses, while protagonist Frey is given spectacular superhuman elemental powers. There’s a surprising dollop of comedy too among the occult grandeur. Yet after playing the game on PlayStation 5 at a recent preview event, I still have concerns about both its representation and its combat, despite its magical potential. The Super Bowl/Wrestlemania of video games, E3 2010, is quickly approaching and this year appears to be jam-packed with reveals, major sequels, new intellectual properties, booth babes, and hands-on opportunities with the gaming industry’s most buzzworthy titles. It really is quite enticing when a game asks if you’d like to move to an island where your main goals are to explore and decorate things. Gardenia does things differently than most due to its adoration of verticality and silly hijinks, but it definitely hits on some of the same beats as games like Animal Crossing. It has some issues with signposting, and can be a little too obtuse for its own good, but the island its set on is a good place to spend several hours, provided you like gliding through the air, harvesting resources, and gardening....

Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford revealed on Twitter that the Borderlands movie now has a director. Unbelievably, the Borderlands movie is still in development. When we found out about it last year, it all sounded too awful to be true. It’s not so bad that they’re making a Borderlands film–Borderlands sounds like a great game to turn into a movie. It’s just that the plot was so far removed from anything found in Borderlands that it all sounded horrible....
