Ubisoft has released the launch trailer for Starlink: Battle for Atlas, and it features Fox McCloud doing a barrel roll. Finally, the universe can rest easy. Since launch, a consistently smooth framerate has been hard to come by at times in Microsoft Flight Simulator. This is something that Asobo Studio developers keep promising to work on and improve. However, the most recent Sim Update III, which bumped Microsoft Flight Simulator up to version 1.14.5.0, has been causing even more issues in regards to performance. In the March 18, 2021 development update, Asobo confirms that it’s investigating the problem and will be addressing it “ASAP....

Gamescom will be going ahead in August, in spite of the global coronavirus situation, as announced by the organisers today. The organisers have determined that “preparations for the gamescom2020 are continuing as planned,” but if the event is impacted, all tickets will be refunded and voucher codes will be refreshed for new events. GDC 2020 and E3 2020 have been cancelled as a result of the coronavirus outbreak, and developers and publishers are electing to host their own livestreams in its place....

In a panel at PAX West, director of programming Larry Hryb and The Coalition studio head Rod Fergusson revealed a little more about the campaign, environments, and new mechanics present in Gears 5 (via Twinfinite). Fergusson proudly stated that Gears 5 has the biggest single player campaign ever built by The Coalition. One of the maps is fifty times the size of any previous Gears of War level. That’s ginormous.
