Rainbow Six Siege has dropped a trailer for the upcoming Year 7 Season 4 Operation Solar Raid, which will introduce new defender Solis to the roster. Don’t expect too much at this time, as the trailer serves mostly as a teaser as the full reveal for Operation Solo Raid and Solis will happen on Monday, Nov. 21. Frogwares, the developer behind last year’s investigatory open-world adventure Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One, has announced it’s remaking Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened, a Lovecraft-themed crossover the studio originally released back in 2007. The Awakened was Frogwares’ third Sherlock Holmes adventure, and the developer’s ongoing association with the detective has resulted in an additional six instalments in the series since then, meaning it’s got years of experience to build on as it reimagines its 2007 title for modern audiences - not to mention its further dalliances with Lovecraft in 2019’s The Sinking City....
Today Forever Entertainment announced the release date of the Front Mission remake Front Mission 1st. The game will launch only on Nintendo Switch on Nov. 30, and pre-orders are starting on Nov. 16. The game doesn’t come just with renewed graphics, but it also includes a fully new game mode and tweaks to the gameplay and mechanics. The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has opened a probe into Sony’s recent acquisition of Bungie. In January, Sony announced its plans to buy Destiny maker Bungie for a tidy $3.6bn. And, as has become the norm for deals such as this, the FTC has opened an in-depth investigation into this takeover. According to sources (via The Information), this investigation may set the closing date of this deal back by six months, if not more....
