Sony Computer Entertainment Japan has confirmed its Tokyo Games Show 2015 games line-up for PS4 and PS Vita. According to Famitsu (posted by Siliconera), Sony has no PS3 titles at the event. Battle royale shooter Fortnite is adding Marvel characters Black Panther, Captain Marvel and villain Taskmaster in its latest Marvel Royalty & Warriors Pack, which is available now. The pack contains the three characters as outfits, complete with their own signature weapon skins, including Vibranium Daggers for Black Panther, a Power of Mar-vell Glider for Captain Marvel and a Mimc Shield Back Bling for Taskmaster. Developer Epic Games had originally intended to bring Black Panther to the game during last season’s Marvel-themed adventure, but postponed it due to the untimely death of actor Chadwick Boseman, instead choosing to honour his memory with an in-game statue....

Epic Games has kicked off the second Marvel’s Avengers crossover with Fortnite, and it’s a little more fleshed out than last year’s effort. Coinciding with the launch of Avengers: Endgame, the crossover sees Thanos and his band of Chitauri going toe-to-toe with Fortnite characters. If you side with the Mad Titan, then you’ll be looking to boost the power of the Chitauri by nabbing Infinity Stones. What’s more, the first player to find a stone will morph into Thanos himself, who is obviously more powerful than regular grunts....

GAME has launched a new promotion offering 50% extra trade-in credit to customers upgrading to a current-gen console. The offer, which starts today and runs until Wednesday, July 27, lets customers trade in their PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo 3DS or PlayStation Vita and get 50% extra credit when purchasing a new or pre-owned PS4 or Xbox One. The offer is only available to Reward Card holders and cannot be used for cash – the credit must be used to purchase a new console in the same transaction....
