Following claims that Halo Infinite could have a battle royale mode upon release, one of the developers has offered up a denial of sorts. It has been reported that the next title from the Halo franchise will be the most expensive game ever, with a rumored budget of over $500 million, something which is also said to point to the possibility of a last man standing multiplayer. Thurrot’s Brad Sams claims that a source in the know as it pertains to Halo Infinite’s production has told him that a battle royal mode is likely to be part of the game....

During today’s Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase 2022, High on Life was revealed to be coming to Xbox Series S|X, Xbox One, and PC in Oct. 2022. As video game events across the world are canceled due to concerns regarding the novel coronavirus, one event is moving the opposite direction. Gamescom, the Cologne, Germany gaming convention scheduled for August 25 through 29 is moving ahead at full speed. Gamescom convention officials confirmed today that “preparations for our upcoming events” are continuing. This includes opening up online ticket sales for Gamescom 2020 today. The Gamescom team posted a new notice on the convention’s website Wednesday acknowledging the ongoing conversation about the novel coronavirus....

COD Modern Warfare II’s campaign mode is available to play for all players from October 20th, 2022. There is a total of 17 playable missions for the players to complete. Gigabyte, one of the world’s largest PC hardware companies, has been hit with a ransomware attack. First reported by The Record, the group known as RansomEXX found a way into Gigabyte’s main servers and stole upwards of 112GB of company data. RansomEXX, a group of hackers known for targeting larger companies, apparently carried out the attack at some point last week. According to the report, the nearly 112GB of confidential data includes information on new products and hardware....
