The next God of War game could tell the story of Kratos and Faye’s relationship, if creative director Cory Barlog has anything to say about it (via games radar). “Faye was the one I identified with the most,” said Barlog in an interview with PlayStation Access. GTA Online’s Freemode Events Update is now available and will auto download on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Halo Infinite developer 343 Industries will begin “rolling out changes” to the shooter’s in-game store next week, emphasising that it is “focused on reducing pricing across the board”. “We’ve been monitoring the discussions on the Shop, bundles, and pricing closely since launch,” explains Jerry Hook, head of design at 343 Industries. “Using data and community feedback, we’re going to begin rolling out changes to how we package and price items in Halo Infinite - and it all starts next week....

Game of Thrones, Iron Man and Despicable Me 2 composer Bobby Tahouri has been announced as the composer of the musical score for Rise of the Tomb Raider. “It’s been an honour working on such a storied franchise,” Tahouri said. “Lara is someone who embodies an indomitable spirit, and crafting music to accompany her on her journey has been a fantastic experience.” Accompanying Tahouri’s score are sections of stealth combat which feature procedurally generated music, created by analysing Tahouri’s work for the game to dynamically create new music....
