Developer Codemasters first released GRID Autosport in 2014 for the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. Feral Interactive brought the game over to macOS and Linux in 2017, as well as an iOS port that same year. Now, the game has been ported over to the Nintendo Switch. Microsoft announced a new twin-stick shooter game, West of Dead, at the Xbox X019 event last night. The Wild West themed shooter will feature the voice talent of the former Hellboy star Ron Perlman. West of Dead lets the player embody William Mason, an undead cowboy with a Ghost Rider style flaming skull. He awakens in Purgatory – Wyoming, not the Dantean concept of limbo – with no memory of who he is or where he came from, only the memory of a figure in black....

The holidays may be over, but GTA Online is the gift that keeps on giving, as Rockstar Games has just revealed a boatload of new goodies are coming to the multiplayer version of GTA V. The latest GTA Online update is now available to download for PS4, PC, and Xbox, Rockstar Games has announced, allowing players to hop into a new vehicle and get their mitts on some extra GTA$ and RP. Budding criminals can now snap up the flashy Lampadita Viseris, a two-door sports car that is available to purchase at Legendary Motorsport. The vehicle also comes with some snazzy upgrades for those with access to the Mobile Operations Center or Avenger....

Fans of the fast-paced anime fighting game Guilty Gear are going to have something to look forward to next month. Earlier today developer Arc System Works announced that a Guilty Gear Strive livestream event will be held on October 11. The event is titled “Guilty Gear Official Live Stream: Latest Information Extra-Large Special” and will feature a new trailer and a music video. The Guilty Gear series is known for its amazing music, so I expect this music video to be a real banger (as the kids say)....

CD Projekt Red has revealed Gwent: Rogue Mage, a standalone singleplayer expansion to popular The Witcher spin-off Gwent launching today. The Polish studio made the surprise announcement through IGN. Game Director Vladimir Tortsov detailed the reasoning behind the singleplayer focused released. “While Gwent multiplayer is a fantastic game for those who are looking for a great PvP multiplayer experience,” he explained. “We perfectly understand that many Witcher players loved the original mini-game of Gwent for totally different reasons....

Modders have managed to get Half-Life 2 running on the Switch, after the release of Portal: Companion Collection. OatmealDome, who provides regular information on Switch firmware updates, said, on Twitter (via VGC): “The entirety of Half-Life 2 (minus maps and music) is present in the ROM. Might be leftovers from the [Nvidia] Shield version. I should note that having at least some Half-Life 2 leftovers present in the ROM is expected, considering Portal 1 is just a fancy mod of Half-Life 2....

When Star Ocean: The Divine Force released the other week, some of us were a bit shocked. Square Enix had been doing better with its PC ports in the wake of NieR: Automata and we’d hoped the bad times were in the past. This made me worried for Harvestella. But this port is thankfully a lot better, even if it has basically zero options. The only other platform the game’s releasing on is Switch, so I’m not actually all that surprised by this, but it’s pretty wild, considering....

Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII has revealed the map for its hotly anticipated Battle Royale game mode. The map is called Blackout, which is appropriate since the game mode is also called Blackout. What this means when Call of Duty eventually comes out with new maps is anybody’s guess. Maybe the name of its Battle Royale mode will rotate depending on the latest map that’s been released. Posted to Call of Duty’s Twitter page is the map in question, which on first glance looks like a combination of Erangel and Miramar from PUBG....

A new patch is rolling out now for Heroes of the Storm bringing a host of new content and game tweaks, Blizzard has announced. The key new additions include a new Battleground and a new Hero. New 3-lane Battleground: Tomb of the Spider Queen Spider Minions and enemy Heroes will drop magical Gems of Power upon death. Collect these Gems and turn them in to the Spider Queen’s Altars, which can be found in-between lanes at the center of the Battleground....

High on Life on PC During his playthrough of Squanch Games’ High on Life, well-known streamer and Moist Esports owner, MoistCr1TiKaL, pushed an NPC off the side of the map and watched him fall to his death. This NPC held semi-important information needed to progress in the story, and while descending into the abyss, the NPC proclaims something along the lines of, “Okay, I guess you don’t need my help then....

IO Interactive has dropped a brand new patch for assassination-em-up favourite Hitman 3, not only giving the game a new ‘World of Assassination’ branding, but also a whole new gamemode. While Hitman Freelancer is undoubtedly the star of this update, there’s also a raft of other tweaks and changes made to the two-year old game to give it a whole new lease of life. Epic Games and Xbox have announced that battle royale shooter Fortnite is now available via Xbox Cloud Gaming. The move means that the free-to-play game is now supported on all browser enabled devices. In fact, you don’t even need an Xbox Game Pass subscription to access the game according to the Xbox Wire article. Just a Microsoft account is all you need, and you can play on Android phones and tablets, iOS devices & more....

An exciting new collaboration starts today between Battle Breakers and Fortnite: Save the World. Playing the new “hero-collector" RPG will award Razor, a new Ninja character, in Save the World - the first crossover for the game. To unlock content between both games, players have a few tasks to complete. First, players in Save the World need to complete the quest “Shoot for the High School” and “Climbing the Leaderboard”, which will unlock Jess and Kyle in Battle Breakers....
