A version of Battle Royale shooter Fortnite specifically made for China is to close down after three years. As reported by Kotaku, users were met with an official announcement of the closure on the game’s website. Player registrations were disabled yesterday, leaving new users unable to sign up for a new account. As of Monday November 15 the servers will be switched off for good, and Chinese players won’t be able to connect to the game....
Epic Games has confirmed details on the latest Fortnite update, which continues the chilly winter theme with the addition of a Chiller Grenade. It pretty much does what it says on the tin: It goes boom, and your enemies get a nasty case of frostbite. Also on the cards with Fortnite update 7.30 is the addition of mobile controller support, which is obviously a plus for anyone who likes to play Fortnite while out and about....
Forza Motorsport 6 made a splash during Microsoft’s Gamescom conference yesterday with new info on the game’s impressive wet weather racing. The Xbox 360 version of classic arcade shooter Galaga is now backward compatible with Xbox One, Microsoft has announced. If you’ve previously bought the game on Xbox 360 you’ll be able to download it free of charge by heading to the Ready To Install section on your Xbox One. Alternatively you can download it for £3.39 by heading over to Xbox.com. Galaga first hit the arcades in 1981 before making its way to Xbox Live Arcade in 2010 and sees players fighting against waves of aliens....
