The new design of GameStop stores was leaked on Facebook about a week ago. The video, which can be seen below, shows off a store more focused on retro games and tabletop games than the former design, with an emphasis on GameStop as a community gathering place for gamers. The video comes from a store in Pryor, Oklahoma. According to IGN, not all new stores will feature this new redesign. Some stores will be focused on esports, while others will retain a design closer to the pre-existing one....

Google revealed during its latest Stadia Connect live stream that 11 more games are joining the service, including a trio of Electronic Arts’ biggest titles. Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, the hit action-adventure game from Respawn Entertainment, will hit the service in the fall, while new editions of Madden and FIFA will arrive on Stadia in the winter. Polyphony Digital has finally confirmed the release date for its first PS4 title Gran Turismo Sport in a brief new trailer. It’ll be released on October 18. Perhaps this one is for real? Codemasters has announced that the latest entry in its refreshed racing series GRID has been delayed by a month and will now be launching on October 11. The game, first revealed back in May, was originally scheduled to release on September 13, but as per the Codemasters official blog it has been pushed back a month in order ’to give added exposure to a game we’re hugely excited about.' Activision has said Guitar Hero Live performed below expectations, but promises to continue supporting the music title. Speaking during last night’s earnings call, Activision CFO Dennis Durkin said “We did however experience lower than expected performance on Skylanders and Guitar Hero,” before passing the conversation to CEO Eric Hirshberg. “Guitar Hero Live is a fun, high-quality game that introduced innovative new game play to fans, including the GHTV platform, which keeps our community engaged and will allow us to cost-effectively deliver new content and build our installed base,” he explained....

IGN has published direct feed footage from the opening 27 minutes of Tequila Works’ Rime, which recently re-emerged for PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch. The new gameplay begins with the game’s hero waking up on a mysterious beach, and features a number of the game’s early puzzles. Rime is certainly looking like a title to watch out for this summer, currently expected to arrive in May.
