But in 2013, millennial irony began to pick up in popularity, and so it was that Garfield Kart became the subject of widespread sarcastic, ironic admiration. One glance at the 2013 title’s Steam page reveals a “Very Positive” consensus out of over 4,000 reviews....

Today God of War Ragnarok has finally been released, and the celebration extends to Sony’s own PlayStation Studios. While fans may be celebrating with special “meaty” arrangements or listening to music at midnight launch events, Ghost of Tsushima developer Sucker Punch, The Last of Us developer Naughty Dog, Days Gone developer Bend Studio, and Ratchet & Clank developer Insomniac Games are doing it with artwork. Whislt chatting to PCGamesN during E3, Stadia’s head of communications Patrick Seybold said that Stadia users will be able to change their gamertags whenever they like, and as many times as they want. If the username that you want is free, then you can grab it, like you would on Steam. Valve doesn’t ask you to fork over cash for a different handle, whereas Xbox and PlayStation do charge you to change your tag....

It’s been some time since fans of Gothic got a proper entry in the franchise. The spinoff Arcania: Gothic 4 was released all the way back in 2010 to less than stellar reviews, and the franchise has been more or less silent since then. As part of the Phase One agreement between the governments of the United States and China, tariffs proposed by President Trump, which would have added a 25% tax on electronics manufactured in China, will not go into effect. In return, the Chinese government has promised an increase in purchases from the US, in addition to addressing concerns over the handling of American intellectual property in China. The tariffs, had they been implemented, would have very likely resulted an increase in the price of video game hardware, much of which is produced in China....

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced last summer that along with the Ryan Reynolds Green Lantern film would come the obligatory movie tie-in game. Inspired by the movie, Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters is hitting all the major platforms later this year. Today, during the ARCREVO America 2021 Finals, Arc System Works announced the last character of the first season pass of its fighting game Guilty Gear – Strive- The character is a returning one, Testament, and you can see him in action in the trailer below (alongside a version with the voice-over in Japanese). He will be available for those who have purchased the season pass on March 28, while everyone else will have to wait for March 31....

Bandai Namco has been releasing new clips of its upcoming free-to-play first-person shooter Gundam Evolution, showcasing two of its playable mobile suits. We start with the RX-75 Guntank and its main weapon, the iconic 40mm Bop Missile Launcher. It can automatically aim and damage multiple targets or deal concentrated damage to a single one its in alternate mode. It can overheat, so you need to be careful. The first active skill activates the equally-iconic 120mm Low-Recoil Cannon....

Daybreak Games and NantWorks have announced that H1Z1 Battle Royale will be coming to mobile platforms at some point, where it’ll be known simply as Z1 Battle Royale. The move comes following a ‘strategic investment’ on the part of NantWorks in Daybreak Games, who also confirmed they will be pumping out a mobile version of EverQuest. There’s no word on a release date for either project yet, however. H1Z1 Battle Royale hasn’t long been available as a free-to-play title for PlayStation 4, while Daybreak Games recently confirmed that it’s shuttering the original Just Survive version of the game....
