The PC version of Grand Theft Auto 5 has seen a further three week delay, Rockstar Games has announced. The game now won’t launch until April 14, having previously been due to launch on March 24. “Our apologies to PC gamers worldwide who have been counting down the days until the launch of the game, but a bit more time is needed to ensure that the game is as polished as possible, and to make certain that both Heists and the GTA Online experience are ready to roll out on day one for PC,” Rockstar said....

The lead multiplayer designer for Halo Infinite and self-professed Jorge fan has announced his departure from 343 Industries. In a Twitter message, Andrew Witts thanked the fans before saying he’s heading out for some much-needed R&R. In his message, Witts didn’t mention where headed to next. Short and to the point, he announced his leave while mentioning that he’s taking “some time off.” Whatever’s next for Witts, he does say he’s “excited....

Halo Infinite’s long-awaited Winter Update - which developer 343 Industries calls the game’s ’largest feature update yet’ - is now live on Xbox and PC, introducing campaign network co-op, the official launch of The Forge beta, and more. 343 has provided extended release notes on its website, but the key additions start with the aforementioned campaign network co-op, making it possible for up to four players to experience Halo Infinite’s campaign together....

That’s just as well, then, because Hitman 2’s latest Elusive Target, The Politician, is now live. Agent 47 will have until March 18 to hunt down Dame Barbara Elizabeth Keating, described as a New Zealand tycoon and is a former Minister of Trade and Foreign Affairs. As expected, she can be found in Hitman 2’s New Zealand location, Hawke’s Bay. Dama Barbara is also apparently working with a body double, which makes your job a little more difficult....

Developer IO Interactive has confirmed that Hitman 3’s upcoming Nintendo Switch version will indeed release on the same day as the game on the other formats, January 20. In case you missed the initial announcement, the Nintendo Switch version of the game will be possible thanks to Cloud Gaming, which will mean you’ll need a constant internet connection to play. However, the trade-off is you’ll be able to enjoy the entire game on the less powerful game in a similar manner to the recent Cloud Version release of Remedy’s Control....

Earlier this month, the corporate vice president of Microsoft’s gaming division, Mike Ybarra, left the company, which capped off the end of a 20-year long career. But Ybarra hinted that he had exciting things coming in the future, and now we know what he was referring to. As of today, Ybarra announced that he would joining Overwatch and World of Warcraft studio Blizzard. Ybarra confirmed his new position on Twitter, where he clarified that his new role would be as executive vice president and general manager....
