Gran Turismo Sport, the latest racer in the long-running series, will make its debut on PS4 later this year. Taking to the stage at a London conference, Polyphony Digital CEO Kazunori Yamauchi claimed that Sport features “A level of innovation not seen since the first Gran Turismo”. Gran Turismo Sport will feature four groups of cars, of which each contains real-world and fantasy vehicles. All of the cars have also been remodelled “from scratch” since Gran Turismo 6, and every one now has an interior view....

Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn has said he once pitched a Hitman movie, but it never saw the light of day. Sharing the news on Twitter, Gunn revealed he made the pitch for a film focused on IO Interactive’s bald and ever adaptable assassin just “weeks” before he got the Guardians of the Galaxy gig. “The studio really wanted to hire me, but a producer on the project did not,” he recalled....

As we covered earlier this week, Halo: The Master Chief Collection is still receiving regular improvements, with Season 5 beginning today. The new season is titled “Anvil,” and it introduces new armor, skins for weapons and vehicles, new character nameplates, and seasonal challenges. Aside from the new content, 343 Industries added an important visual feature and some bug fixes. This update is really all about the content, so that’s where we will start....

Today Atlus revealed another returning demon that will appear in its upcoming JRPG Soul Hackers 2 with the usual daily trailer. We get to see Halphas, who returns to the Shin Megami Tensei series after having been skipped in Shin Megami Tensei V. This is certainly appropriate considering that he originally debuted in the first Soul Hackers. As usual with daily trailers, we also get the horoscope for August 8. Pisces returns to the top of the luck ranking, while Cancer is at the bottom....

The Underworld is making a few changes to its infrastructure, as Magic Design Studios have just unveiled its brand new update for Have a Nice Death is officially live. Titled Infrastructure Development, this new DLC adds plenty of enemies, challenges, and quality of life changes that fans of this 2D action roguelike will surely love. Hitman 3 game director Mattias Engström has left IO Interactive and joined Crytek to lead development on Crysis 4. The Crysis Twitter account shared the news: “We are happy to announce that Mattias Engström, known for his work as Game Director for Hitman 3 at IO Interactive, joins the Crysis family as Game Director for the fourth installment in the Crysis franchise, starting this week.” Engström worked across the Hitman trilogy, serving as level designer on the first two games before becoming game director for the third....

Hitman’s second episode ‘Sapienza’ will release on Tuesday, April 26, IO Interactive has announced. The episode will be available at no additional cost to owners of Hitman: The Full Experience, or as a £7.99 download to owners of the first episode. Intro Pack owners can also pay £36.99 to upgrade to the full season. Sapienza takes players to an Italian coastal town and introduces a brand new mission featuring a new target, Silvio Caruso....
