IO Interactive has confirmed that it intends to bring ray-tracing to the Xbox Series X|S version of Hitman 3 in a future update. God of War sold over a whopping five million copies during its first month on sale, PlayStation chief John Kodera said during Sony’s Investors Relations Days 2018. Google has announced it’s shutting down Stadia early next year. The news come mere months after the company stated it wasn’t going to end its cloud-gaming service, saying it was “always working on bringing more great games to the platform.” Today, however, Phil Harrison, VP and general manager of Stadia, has confirmed otherwise. In a message to the community, Harrison wrote that shutting down Google Stadia was a “difficult decision,” saying it “hasn’t gained the traction with users that we expected....

PlayStation-exclusive racing series Gran Turismo has sold over 80.4 million copies worldwide since its debut more than 20 years ago, Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced. The Polyphony-developed franchise launched on PlayStation back in December 1997 in Japan, and has appeared on every major Sony platform to date. The most recent instalment, Gran Turismo Sport, hit PlayStation 4 in October 2017. ‘It’s hard to imagine that 80.4 million copies of Gran Turismo have been played during the 20-year history of the franchise,’ said creator Kazunori Yamauchi....

I love throwback first-person shooters. A fair amount of them enter Early Access on Steam, and Graven is no different on that front. But the game itself isn’t quite like the others.
