Guilty Gear Strive developer Arc System Works just released the game’s first DLC character, Goldlewis Dickinson. Now, it seems like more news about DLC characters in Guilty Gear Strive is coming in, including new leaks that includes fan favorites Slayer and Baiken. The first leak for Guilty Gear Strive accurately predicted the release for Goldlewis as a character. Now, it appears Slayer and Baiken were leaked in a similar method. This gives some precedence over the validity of these leaks, so their inclusion seems more likely now....

The patch notes for Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC have finally been revealed and include the full details regarding the long-awaited release of Halo 3. Yes, as we previously discussed, Halo 3 will finally be officially playable on PC via this Master Chief Collection update. Halo 3 is expected to officially launch at about 1 p.m. EST today and will join Halo: CE, Halo 2, and Halo Reach as the Halo games currently available in the PC version of the Master Chief Collection....

For Steam PC and Xbox Series X|S owners, playing Halo Infinite up until this week has been nice and breezy. The online mode saves your progression between them, meaning you can swap a PC chair and couch at will and still pick up where you left off. However, that isn’t the case with the campaign mode. Currently, there is no cross-save function with Halo Infinite‘s campaign between Steam and Xbox. So, keep that in mind if you were planning on moving from PC to console while enjoying the campaign....

343 Industries has confirmed its withdrawing the dedicated playlist for Halo Infinite mode Land Grab. In a brief statement about it on Halo Waypoint, 343i said that whilst it knew “many players have enjoyed this new mode”, it had been “steadily declining” and “starting to fall short of the quality bar”. Consequently, the dedicated playlist will be “rotated out” and will instead “roll into Quick Play” at the beginning of November....

Hearthstone’s upcoming Ashes of Outland expansion will not only see the release of a new Demon Hunter hero class and a variety of new cards, but it will also bring some welcome (and drastic) changes to the game as part of the Year of the Phoenix update. The headline feature of the initial Year of the Phoenix update is an updated pack opening ruleset which prevents the opening of duplicate cards regardless of their rarity....

The channel, which frequently reports on trivia from a specific game or franchise, has been issued a takedown notice from Nintendo. This takedown pertains specifically to Did You Know Gaming’s video on Heroes of Hyrule - a Zelda game for the Nintendo DS akin to Final Fantasy Tactics, that was pitched to Nintendo by Retro Studios....

IO Interactive has released a new video for Hitman 3, this time showcasing the game’s PlayStation-exclusive VR mode that allows you to enter the head of Agent 47 in first person. The mode will allow you to play the entirety of the ‘World of Assassination Trilogy’ consisting of 2016’s Hitman, follow-up Hitman 2 and of course the newest game, Hitman 3 using a PlayStation VR headset and Move controllers, with each level offering the “full sandbox experience” as seen in the normal mode, with NPCs going about their routines, places to explore, shortcuts to unlock and more....

Fortnite’s chapter two launched earlier today, and with it comes a plethora of new features. Since there haven’t been any official patch notes so far, players are discovering new features and mechanics on their own. However, Epic Games did release a trailer that showed off some new features, which also include a whole new set of water gameplay. Microsoft’s Gamescom 2019 presentation started with a surprising announcement. Not only will Gears 5 feature a variety of characters from the Gears of War franchise, but it will also include some characters from Halo: Reach for both Horde mode and Versus. The Halo: Reach character pack will be available to anyone who purchases the Ultimate Edition of Gears 5 or who is signed up for Game Pass Ultimate. It includes Spartans Emile-A239 and Kat-B320, played by their original actors, along with a variety of other Halo: Reach-themed cosmetics, including a skin for the robot companion Jack....
