Xbox and Ninja Theory have announced a surprise Xbox Series X|S enhancement patch for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, available from today. Though specifics are currently a bit scant, the video reveals that the update includes “an enriched visuals mode”. On the Xbox Series X, the already impressive visuals of the original will now also use utilise DirectX Raytracing. A resolution mode is also supported “and more” on the new consoles. The action adventure is currently celebrating its fourth anniversary, having originally released on August 8, 2017....

Development on State of Decay 3 seems to be progressing swimmingly. Back in September, it was announced that Gears of War developer The Coalition would be helping Undead Labs craft the third game in the State of Decay series. It seems with this third game, Microsoft is wanting a much different experience. At the beginning of August, two employees of the Nebraska video game store Gamers were arrested after being accused of stealing merchandise from a rival store called the Gameroom and selling it at their own store. At the time, 26 year old owner David Mitchell told local news affiliates that he had nothing to do with it, and also made a lengthy Facebook post explaining his innocence. However, Mitchell has now been arrested and hit with a felony burglary charge for “conspiring to steal” from the Gameroom, and having stolen around $50,000 worth of video game consoles and games....

A con artist is at large after scamming a reported $3 million out of Gearbox Software CEO and President Randy Pitchford. The man behind this huge theft was Pitchford’s personal assistant. John Wright Martin has allegedly been embezzling millions from both Randy and his wife Kristy Pitchford.
