Halo 5’s resolution will dynamically scale down from 1080p during the game’s more intensive scenes to help keep the framerate at a “consistent” 60fps, 343 Industries has said. The system sounds similar to the resolution scaling found in the Xbox One version of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, which dynamically scaled the resolution between 1360×1080 to 1920×1080.
