Seeing the name David Szymanski on a game made me instantly take notice. This was the guy that made Dusk, after all, so anything he makes is bound to catch the attention of the many that adore the game. Gloomwood, which just entered Early Access, isn’t the same kind of Doom-esque first-person shooter, even if it does visually and tonally remind me of Dusk. Daybreak Studios has paused development on the PS4 and Xbox One versions of zombie shooter H1Z1: King of the Hill in order to let it focus on finishing the PC release. 343 Industries has released a new fix for Halo Infinite, addressing the Quick Resume issue that was affecting player cosmetics. The issue in question meant that player cosmetics weren’t showing up in multiplayer inventories. Brian Jarrard, the community director at 343 Industries, said, “I recommend not continuing a Quick Resume session and making sure you’re online before venturing into Zeta Halo.” According to the patch notes for the new update, players will see “improvements to online service connections after re-entering Halo Infinite using Quick Resume on Xbox Series X/S consoles....

Halo Infinite has released its December update, bringing with it the earlier-than-anticipated arrival of a custom game browser, an updated version of Halo 3’s The Pit map, and more. Halo Infinite’s new custom game browser is designed to work in tandem with the Forge Beta introduced as part of November’s Winter Update.
