Pokémon Sword & Shield’s latest Max Raid Event will add Gigantamax Eevee, Meowth, and Pikachu to dens in the Wild Area (via Serebii). Firstly, Gigantamax Pikachu will arrive in Max Raid Battles between now and May 18, with Shiny and Hidden Ability variants. I think Shiny Gigantamax Pikachu would look like a Golden Nugget. I haven’t had Golden Nuggets for breakfast for ages. Anyone else here remember Golden Nuggets? Secondly, Gigantamax Eevee will be available from May 19 to May 25, and then thirdly, Gigantamax Meowth will rear its head from May 26 through June 1....

Polyphony Digital has announced that upcoming racer Gran Turismo 7 will be available in a special 25th Anniversary Edition to celebrate the series’ birthday. Rockstar Games hasn’t officially announced Grand Theft Auto 6, but with GTA 5 having made so much money, a sequel seems like a sure thing. There have been several rumors about the yet unannounced game and one that has been going around for years is that GTA 6 will have a female protagonist. If GTA 6 did have a female protagonist then it would not only be the first GTA game to have a female lead but it would also be the first Rockstar game to star a woman in the main role....

The single-player campaign for CD Projekt Red’s Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is breaking away from the core experience, and will instead be made available as a separate product. As a result of the move, the campaign has now binned the Gwent title and has been renamed Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales. It’ll now take the form of a full, story-driven RPG packing in around 30 hours of gameplay, although its action are still determined by Gwent matches....

Halo 5: Guardians will release worldwide on Tuesday, October 27, exclusively on Xbox One, Microsoft has announced. The date suggests that the sci-fi shooter could release just prior to this year’s Call of Duty which, if previous years are anything to go by, is expected to launch in the first or second week of November. “We wanted Halo 5: Guardians to be the game that pays off the epic promise of the Halo universe in scope and scale and drama,” said 343 Industries head Bonnie Ross....

Check out a brand-new Halo 5 CGI trailer which has been released to promote the Spartan Locke, Hunter-class armour set for use in multiplayer matches. The trailer features Spartan Locke tearing his way through the Covenant while in pursuit of Master Chief. The DLC has been announced as a GameStop exclusive in the US, but there’s no word on a UK retailer yet. Free-to-play multiplayer mech shooter Hawken is heading to PS4 on July 8, Reloaded Games has announced. Ahead of an official announcement by the developer, Sony has accidentally leaked the existence of a Forspoken demo. A tweet from PlayStation Japan, that has since been deleted, was spotted making the rounds earlier today. Its translation reveals that a demo for Forspoken will be announced on 9th December. Meanwhile, over on the main PlayStation account, the team has a small reel promoting an 11-minute long Forspoken stream that promises to show off new gameplay....
