Publisher Cygames and developer Arc System Works have announced the next DLC character, Soriz, will join the roster of Granblue Fantasy Versus fighters on April 7. The announcement was accompanied by a launch trailer that shows off a little more of the expert martial artist than many people would like to see. However, the trailer also contains some bare-knuckle brawling gameplay, which is most welcome. It gives players a good look at Soriz’s moves, too....

Take-Two announced in its latest earnings call overnight that Grand Theft Auto 5 has shipped nearly 100 million copies worldwide. Not only that, but the crime caper ‘outperformed’ the publisher’s expectations during the quarter. This will obviously be a massive milestone for the car-pinching actioner, which only a few months ago surpassed the 95 million mark. Today was the day for the Japan Fighting Game Publishers Roundtable. Game developers from all over Japan came together to discuss the state of fighting games. As Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford said during the big Borderlands 3 gameplay reveal event, the game will feature more boss fights than any of the previous games. Michael Myers is going to have no shortage of familiar faces to terrorize in his next cinematic go-around. Vulture reported and Halloween franchise goddess Jamie Lee Curtis confirmed via Twitter that Kyle Richards will be reprising her role of Lindsey Wallace from 1978’s Halloween for upcoming sequel Halloween Kills. Originally released in 2007, PC gamers have been starved of a true Halo 3 PC port for well over a decade. As part of The Master Chief Collection announcement, Halo 3 was finally confirmed to be coming to PC. Since then, we haven’t received many details, but a recent post on Halowaypoint has provided some new information. According to 343 Industries’ Postums, the current plan is to have Halo 3 PC public tests go live at some point this June....

343 Industries has temporarily advised against using the Xbox Series X|S’ Quick Resume feature when playing the campaign of Halo Infinite. The game’s community director Brian Jarrard warned fans of a minor bug via his Twitter account (spotted by GameSpot). He revealed that during the campaign, players are supposed to be able to earn cosmetics to use in multiplayer. However, if a player comes across them while offline, then they won’t be granted....

The brand partnerships related to Halo Infinite continue to roll out despite the game’s indefinite delay. Last month, Monster went ahead with its double XP promotion for energy drinks. Now we’ve learned about another deal with Mondelez. Halo fans can now find specially marked snacks in stores that will award a unique appearance for Halo Infinite multiplayer. Developer 343 Industries is calling these unique appearances armor “coatings,” and it sounds like another term for skins....

Ninja Theory’s brilliant dark fantasy action game Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is making the jump to Xbox One, according to two separate ratings board listings. Both the Australian Classification board and Taiwan Game Software Rating board have listed the critically acclaimed title for Microsoft’s flagship console, indicating a release isn’t far off.
