The latest Fortnite patch has arrived, v7.30, and along with it comes the ability for mobile players to use Bluetooth controllers. While Fortnite is the same game no matter what platform you play it on, anyone who has played it in different ways will know that it makes for different experiences. Personally, we are used to playing the game on PlayStation 4. That’s why when we made the move to Nintendo Switch a couple of months ago, it felt extremely weird, especially when trying to play the game on the move....

Disney Illusion Island is an all new four-player co-operative Disney adventure coming to Nintendo Switch. The new 2D adventure has been built upon a cancelled 2016 project by Dlala Studios and will feature Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck, and Goofy, inspired by the Mickey Mouse cartoon shorts. Patch 0.207.15 of Valheim‘s Public test realm has introduced new content. Players can try their luck in the Frost Caves, a new dungeon in Valheim. Its icy depths adds a variety of enemies, crafting materials, an armor set, a weapon, build pieces, and a new event. Frost Caves will only generate in previously unexplored territory. The Frost Caves spawn in the Mountain biome, which requires cold protection to explore without taking damage....

If you’ve had children growing up in your home in the last six years, you’re probably familiar with “Let It Go.” Even if you didn’t, you still probably know that song. An anthem of self-love and a dawning realization of identity, the tune was written as a showstopper for Queen Elsa (voiced by Idina Menzel) in the first act of Frozen. In fact, it was so powerful that when songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez turned it in to directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, the melody reconfigured the whole film, transforming Elsa from villain to misunderstood heroine....

The second quarter-final of the 2019 League of Legends World Championship knock-out stage has found its victor. The game pit Group B top seed FunPlus Phoenix against Fnatic, the second seed from Group C. The LPL Summer champions secured the second semi-final spot after four games. The first match kicked off with both teams remaining close in kills, with Fnatic holding a minor gold lead. Fnatic’s surprise Rengar pick on top laner Gabriël “Bwipo” Rau proved fruitful, taking four out of the team’s eight kills at the eighteen minute mark....

It took just over a week for someone to speedrun Elden Ring. But the race to the fastest time was only just beginning. The first recorded speedrun clocked in at just under two and a half hours. Two days later the game was completed in under an hour. No sooner had one time been recorded, it was beaten. By April, it had been finished in under ten minutes. Speedrunning a game like Elden Ring, with its gloriously dismal open world, has never really appealed to me....

A “ghost loop” happens when paranormal entities terrorize the living through endless and repetitive supernatural cycles, manifesting over and over in the same location. Travel Channel’s upcoming new series Ghost Loop will attempt to break cycles of trapped paranormal activity and restore peace by drawing out each spirit through re-created trigger environments. The new eight-episode series premieres on Saturday, Jan. 4 at 10 p.m. In each hour-long episode, a team of experts will examine and research their client’s property and history and perform a preliminary paranormal investigation and come up with a plan to stop the haunting....

Following yesterday’s Ubisoft Forward presentation, it’s clear the company hasn’t given up on Ghost Recon Breakpoint just yet. Despite a mediocre reaction to the latest Ghost Recon Entry, it was peppered throughout the pre- and post-show at Ubisoft’s non-E3 showcase. The game’s soundtrack does contain some pretty big names, though. You’ll be able to check out a vinyl release of it in September. Music by Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures), Alessandro Cortini (Nine Inch Nails), and Norm Block feature on the game’s soundtrack....

Coffee Stain Studios has announced Goat Simulator 3, the sequel, believe it or not, to Goat Simulator. There was no Goat Simulator 2; the developer is doing a jape. The new game will feature online multiplayer, allowing up to three people to join together in goat-based hijinks. Once we reach the release of the new consoles, there will be many next-generation games launching alongside them. Godfall is one of them, and the PC release date is now set for November 12. It will be available by way of the Epic Games Store and come in several editions. The standard $60 edition of Godfall comes with the base game, but you can have more if you spend more, naturally....

Google Stadia has not exactly become a runaway success in the way that some of its competitors have. Many have taken issue with the device’s cloud service approach, and its launch back in 2019 soon become infamous thanks to a myriad of technical problems. One of the promised features for Google Stadia has finally been added to the service, as it’s now possible for players to earn achievements in their games. Hot hatches and vintage vehicles can be a lot of fun to drive, but, sometimes, there’s just no substitute for speed. Gran Turismo 7 doesn’t disappoint in this department, with more than 400 real-world vehicles available for players to choose from. Not all of them are lightning-fast, but most are capable of going from zero to fun in a very short space of time.
