Just last month, Grand Theft Auto IV was removed from Steam due to issues regarding Games for Windows Live. Specifically, Rockstar had run out of keys in order to sell that particular version of the game. On March 19, GTA IV will return to Steam but no longer officially support any of its multiplayer game modes. Any players who already owned GTA IV on Steam will have their game update to the Complete Edition....

You would be hard-pressed to find a video game that is more immersive and as layered as Grand Theft Auto V. Set a fire in your heart, Spartan, because very soon you’ll be able to jump into Halo Infinite‘s multiplayer mode for free. After a series of leaks earlier this week, Xbox has confirmed on Twitter that the game’s multiplayer component will be free-to-play for all and will support 120 fps on Xbox Series X. That latter bit is especially interesting since it means that the multiplayer and campaign components of Halo Infinite will showcase different frame rates....

A couple of weeks ago the robot stomping shooter HAWKEN moved over Steam after shutting down the game’s original client. In that time players who had accounts were being slowly but surely moved on to the Steam platform. New players were prevented from joining the game while the user migration was underway. The good news today is that new players can now join the game through Steam for nothing as it’s free to play....

The actors playing brothers Henry and Sam in HBO’s adaptation of The Last of Us have been announced. IGN has revealed that Henry will be played by Lamar Johnson, while his younger brother Sam will be played by Keivonn Woodard. Johnson’s previous credits include Canadian police drama Rookie Blue and Your Honor with Bryan Cranston. Woodard has no previous acting credits. Along with this news, some upcoming plot elements were also revealed....

The release date for Hitman’s second episode, Sapienza, will be announced next week, IO Interactive has confirmed. At the moment, all we know is that it’s due to release in ‘April’. The announcement will follow the release of two new Escalation Contracts rolling out for Episode 1 today, both of which task players with assassinating targets in a series of increasingly difficult scenarios. A new ‘Vampire Magician Challenge Pack’ featuring ten new challenges is also due to release “in the coming weeks”, IO says, all of which will require players to take out their targets while wearing the Vampire Magician disguise....

Epic Games has announced that the Fortnite Battle Royale beta for Android devices will be kicking off this week. The former Gears of War developer confirmed that invites will start rolling out this week, with select Samsung Galaxy users the first to be given a chance to get in on the action from today. The 20 million Xbox One and Xbox 360 Minecraft players can now download an all-new Birthday Skins Pack to celebrate the third birthday of Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, Mojang has announced. The new skin pack features veteran ‘Mojangstas’ and a few extras. You’ll be able to download the new pack, along with the second and first birthday skin packs free of charge until May 17. This is the first time all the birthday packs have been made available for Xbox One players....

In the wild world of gaming discoveries, players have recently realized that if you puke while falling within Red Dead Redemption 2, the game’s puking animation will cancel out any fall damage your character might otherwise receive. So if you’re atop a large mountain or above a valley and need to get to the bottom quickly, you can now do so in one of the grossest ways possible.
