Ubisoft has revealed what’s coming in Rainbow Six Siege’s Year 7 Season 1, Demon Veil. Although there’s no release window detailed just yet, we do know we’ll get a brand new map - the first in three years - as well as a new permanent Team Deathmatch mode and new Japanese Operator, Azami. “In Demon Veil, uncover the secrets of Azami, an enigmatic new Defender - equipped with the Kiba Barrier gadget, her throwable canisters deploy an expandable material that solidifies into a bulletproof surface, providing fast cover,” Ubisoft teases....

Hideo Kojima has announced new Nendoroid vinyl figurines of Death Stranding’s protagonist Sam Porter Bridges. The Death Stranding figurines, created by Good Smile Company, will be exhibited at Japan’s Wonder Festival this coming weekend and two versions of the stalwart package porter will be available, a normal one and a Great Deliverer. Both models are fully articulated and impressively detailed given their small size of approximately four inches tall. The regular version of the Death Stranding Sam Porter Bridges Nendoroid figurine has his hair tied back and comes with a cryptobiote, a pod carrying a tiny BB inside, two cargo cases that can be either attached to the cargo carrier or held in Bridges’ hands, and an Odradek scanner that also features several points of articulation....

Developer IO Interactive has opened up about the split with Square Enix, detailing some of the difficulties in making Hitman 2. In an interview with Gamespot, associate director Eskil Mohl spoke about the break up, where says he remembered thinking, ‘Oh sh*t, we’re flying over the Atlantic and we don’t have enough gas to get there. So what the hell do we do?’ The company was already well into development on Hitman 2, the follow-up to 2016’s well-praised Hitman....

Hitman 2 developer IO Interactive has confirmed its lineup of December content for the stealth-based sequel, and it includes, in the company’s own words, a ’timed-limited holiday surprise.’ Maybe Agent 47 can dress up as Santa? Things kick off on December 6 with Occupational Hazards, the first of five featured contracts created by the community that will be rolled out for Hitman 2 over time. Fortnite’s next patch m, the 3.4 update will be arriving shortly and it brings new content to the game. Epic will now be releasing what they are calling content updates which will drop into the game without a major game update. According to Epic this will allow them to focus on complex bugs still knocking about in the game and still provide new content for players. Epic Games and PlayStation have announced the latest character to show up in Fortnite will be Horizon Zero Dawn protagonist Aloy who will arrive as part of the currently ongoing Primal season. Aloy will arrive on April 15 alongside a Horizon: Zero Dawn bundle that includes a Blaze Canister Back Bling, a Glinthawk Glider and an Aloy’s Spear Pickaxe as well as a Heart-rizon emote, Focus effect and Shield Weaver Wrap....

Xbox Live’s director of programming Major Nelson confirms the next four games to be added to Xbox Game Pass for Consoles and PC. Less than a week ago, Xbox Game Pass added several other games, such as fighting game Tekken 7. The next four games that will be available for Xbox Game Pass subscribers are A Plague Tale: Innocence, Indivisible, Sea Salt, and Fishing Sim World: Pro Tour. The reviews of A Plague Tale: Innocence spoke positively about the action adventure horror stealth game, saying that its suspenseful story will keep players hooked until its credits roll....

It’s the eve of World of Warcraft’s Cataclysm, and already speculation abounds as to where players will go next. Sonic The Hedgehog-inspired platformer Freedom Planet is heading to PS4, the official PlayStation website has revealed. The platformer made its debut on PC back in 2014 before heading to Wii U one year later, having originally started out as a Sonic fan project.
