Genshin Impact’s Sumeru region got expanded with a new desert region, the Great Red Sand. With the introduction of the new region, no doubt there will be more fun and quests. Ubisoft’s next open-world shooter, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, is already primed to be a massive game, but the studio plans to keep adding new content to it throughout its lifespan. Epic has announced that the next character to join the battle royale shooter as part of the latest Fortnite season Zero Point is none other than God of War hero Kratos. The Gran Turismo series has sold over 90m copies, developer Polyphony Digital has announced. That eye-watering figure came from Polyphony Digital CEO Kazunori Yamauchi as part of a message to fans to celebrate 25 years of the racing sim. While Sony hasn’t announced it as such, Gran Turismo is PlayStation’s best-selling franchise. Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto 5 is the latest game to enter the PlayStation Store’s 12 Deals of Christmas promotion, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced. GTA 5 is the ninth Deal of Christmas, being reduced down to the retail-beating price of £29.99. The promotional discount will be in place until 11.59pm on December 18, at which point deal 10 will go live. Sony’s also reminding users that Star Wars Battlefront is currently on offer until December 26, reduced down to £36....

The Flash may not be back for a long time, due to its pandemic-pushed production schedule, but it now appears that it will do so without a fan-favorite character, Ralph Dibny, a.k.a. Elongated Man, after some recently-unearthed tweets by the actor who portrays him, Hartley Sawyer, retroactively stretched his foot into his mouth. The CW has officially fired Sawyer from his series regular role on The Flash, reports THR.
