In Life is Strange: Before the Storm protagonist Chloe Price will ‘make her mark’ on the world by scrawling graffiti, where Life is Strange lead Max Caulfield took polaroid photos. This was explained by Chris Floyd co-director at Deck Nine Games, the studio working on the three-part Life is Strange prequel. Speaking at a preview event, Floyd said ‘The graffiti feature replaces the photography feature from the first game. Max takes photographs, and Chloe makes her mark....

Nippon Ichi Software released another trailer of the upcoming real-time strategy JRPG remaster GrimGrimoire OnceMore. The trailer showcases the rich and beautifully drawn cast of characters that appear in the game, highlighting Vanillaware’s fantastic artwork and providing a hint at the story. Twitch streamer HAchubby, or Hachu, helped spread holiday cheer by creating an entire holiday-themed rap a few days before Christmas. Decked out in a full Santa Claus outfit, Hachu took up the daunting task of finding loops, recording keyboards, interacting with chat, and recording vocals – and the results were glorious. She let the chat in on the whole creation process, starting with drum loops and keyboard backing, all the way to lyric writing and recording each verse....

Half-Life: Alyx, the VR game Valve is calling the next chapter in the Half-Life universe, is already stirring up excitement. Hi-Fi Rush is a new rhythm-based action game from The Evil Within and Ghostwire: Tokyo developer, Tango Gameworks. Game grading company Wata Games is the target of a new US class action lawsuit accusing it of unfair business practices and of manipulating the retro gaming market for its own gain. As reported by VGC, the lawsuit was filed on 10th May in the Central District of California, representing class members (estimated to be as many as 10,000 individuals) who all paid for game grading and other services by Wata....

Mad Catz, a manufacturer of gaming peripherals and co-publisher on Rock Band 4, has filed for bankruptcy, despite ‘actively pursuing its strategic alternatives’ to save the company. The company announced on Thursday that it had ceased operation, and all remaining assets are now to be liquidated (many of which take the form of unsold Rock Band 4 instruments). All the company’s officers and directors have resigned, effective from March 30. Mad Catz had unfortunately been struggling for some time....

Gearbox has published an official help guide for troubleshooting technical issues with Borderlands 3 for PC and consoles, while it focuses on permanent solutions (via gamesradar). Borderlands 3 launched last week, but unfortunately it was not smooth sailing for the third installment of the cel-shaded looter-shooter. It experienced major performance issues on every platform, as stated by countless reports from players on Gearbox forums and the Borderlands subreddit. The PS4 Pro and Xbox One X versions struggled to maintain targeted frame rates in both resolution and performance mode, whereas PS4s and Xbox Ones could barely reach 30 FPS....
