It’s officially the holiday season and for games like Fortnite, that means that it’s about time for in-game holiday events to start. Exactly what Epic Games has planned for winter 2019 isn’t clear, though the return of Winterfest and the 14 Days of Fortnite are all but certain. To make up for Epic Games keeping secrets, Fortnite dataminers are working overtime. So far dataminers have discovered a ton of interesting winter content for the battle royale game, but what might be most interesting to players are all of the new skins....

Season 10 in Fortnite has led to some very interesting events. The season started with a frozen comet hovering above the Fortnite battle royale map. Its most recent change has turned Tilted Town, which had already been changed from Neo Tilted to Batman’s Gotham. Perhaps the oddest change Epic has made to Fortnite in Season 10, however, is the mysterious raining tacos of Greasy Grove. These tacos and the dance they inspire are the targets of one of Epic’s latest Fortnite balance changes....

Forza Motorsport 7 is reaching End of Life status and will be removed from the Microsoft Store and Xbox Game Pass on September 15, developer Turn 10 has announced. As per the game’s official website, players who already own the game will still be able to play and access the title as normal. Online features such as multiplayer will also still be accessible. Anyone who’s bought DLC for the game while it’s been on Xbox Game Pass will be eligible for a token to keep the main game and continue playing....

Gun Media and Illfonic have released a free update for Friday the 13th: The Game, that coincides with the retail launch of the physical version of the game. The update brings the addition of rain to all of the playable maps and a new playable map called Jarvis House, which was featured in the film Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter. Alongside the new map there’s a couple of new characters, Jason (from Jason IV), and Mitch Floyd the camp counselor....

Bandai Namco has released a number of new videos for Dragon Ball FighterZ, in the build up to the closed beta beginning this weekend. The latest video is the character introduction for Frieza, the diminutive maniac who’s capable of destroying a planet with a pink ball of electricity, and God knows what else. Dragon Ball FighterZ is being developed by Arc System Works, the folks behind the pretty good Guilty Gear, and it’s been garnering quite a bit of interest....

Developer The Game Bakers has announced its neon-coloured action game Furi will be released on Nintendo Switch next Thursday, January 11. The boss rush affair originally came out on PC and PS4 in July 2016, while Xbox One owners had to wait until December of that year to get their hands on it. The Switch edition includes the One More Fight DLC that was released last March, as well as the opportunity to speedrun the game’s Furier mode, which has never previously been available to console players....

While watching Gemini Man, I was taken back to the ‘90s, although not necessarily for the reasons you think. Rumours have been heating up over the weekend claiming that Halo Infinite‘s multiplayer could be getting a surprise early launch – potentially as early as tonight. It all started (as per Video Games Chronicle) after Twitter user Adam Fairclough discovered some interesting changes in the Halo website’s source code.
