Fortnite has had shopping carts for a few weeks now, although it turns out that some players weren’t using them for the reasons developer Epic Games intended. As a result, Epic has been yo-yoing between removing carts from the battle royale title and then adding them back in. In fact, it reintroduced shopping carts only this week before pulling them just hours later. So, as EastEnders’ Phil Mitchell would say, wot’s that abaht?...

While Microsoft hasn’t officially announced Forza Horizon 4 yet, it’s pretty obvious the game will turn up at some point this year. Yesterday, it was announced that Batista would be in Gears 5 as part of a crossover promotion with the WWE. Now Xbox has released some new screenshots that show exactly how Batista will look when he’s added to the game on September 15 after the WWE Clash of Champions pay-per-view. Batista will “don the armor of Marcus Fenix” when he’s added to Gears 5 as a multiplayer character. This was done partly as a result of Batista campaigning to be in the Gears of War movie, though that casting still hasn’t actually been set....

Earlier this year, an Animal Farm game was announced by developers Nerial and The Dairy Men. Now, it has been announced that you can get your hands on the highly anticipated game on December 10. Ghost of Tsushima developer Sucker Punch has confirmed that its limb-slicing samurai actioner will indeed feature a Photo Mode. One of the promised features of Stadia touted by Google before the launch of the cloud gaming service was that all games would support 4K resolution at 60 FPS. Even after the service became available to the public in November 2019 and reports began to come in to the contrary, Google backpedaled to state that all games could be played at 4K/60 FPS but only if developers chose to optimize their games for it and only certain platforms such as Chromecast Ultra would support it....
