Now, you are able to get a full refund on a game (or other product) purchased through their platform within the last 30 days - even if you’ve already played it. You can get your money back either converted into GOG Wallet funds, or actual money back in whatever way you originally chose to pay....
The latest feature to be released by the GOG team is the new Web installers which should make it super easy to get games installed directly from the GOG site with Galaxy installed. Note that the classic installers have been replaced with what they now call “offline backup game installers”. It sounds confusing but once you try it out it’s super simple but you do need to still have Galaxy installed so it may not be a big deal to a lot of GOG users....
Warner Bros. has cancelled the planned PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Gotham Knights. The news - which came alongside a first-look at gameplay showing Nightwing and Red Hood - means Gotham Knights will now launch on 25th October just for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Warner Bros. did not go into detail on its decision to drop last-gen consoles, or explain when this decision was made. By way of explanation, it simply said the move was “to provide players with the best possible gameplay experience”....
Completing Favor quests is absolutely worth it as watching extra cutscenes and dialogues show the cinematic brilliance of the developers. Songs of the Sands is one such Favor quest that becomes available after you have completed the Reckoning quest. In addition, you should have completed the Secrets of the Sands Favor quest too. This gets you to access to the Forbidden Sands region near the Barrens in Alfheim. You will activate the Songs of the Sands Favor quest automatically while sleighing through the Forbidden Sands....
Sony Pictures has cast its lead in the upcoming film adaptation of Gran Turismo. In an exclusive report from The Hollywood Reporter, Archie Madekwe, best known for portraying the son of Jason Momoa’s Baba Voss in Apple TV’s See, will be playing “a teenage Gran Turismo player whose gaming skills won him a series of Nissan competitions to become an actual professional racecar driver.” Madekwe’s casting comes only a few days after David Harbour (Stranger Things) was announced in a supporting role as a retired driver who will teach Madekwe’s character to drive....
GODSENT’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster will face off against staff members of esports data platform GRID in a charity showmatch, with the proceeds going towards a Swedish childhood cancer foundation. The Swedish esports organization partnered with GRID in November of last year, shortly after signing their current CS:GO lineup. Funds raised during the broadcast will benefit Swedish childhood cancer fund Barncancerfonden. The event will pit GODSENT’s professional CS:GO team against GRID employees in a best-of-three match broadcasted on GRID’s Twitch channel....
Guilty Gear Strive and BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle are coming to Xbox and Game Pass. Announced during Microsoft’s Tokyo Game Show event this morning, Arc System Works’ fantastic 2D anime fighting games both launch on Xbox Series X and S and Xbox One spring 2023. Earlier today was the second New Game Plus Expo – a livestream event that focuses on Japanese titles heading to the East and West. Datamining of a recent update to Valve’s The Lab has revealed code for what appears to be a VR version of Half-Life. Speaking on the matter, Tyler McVicker of the Valve News Network stated that he located a large amount of source code within The Lab, which runs on the Unity engine. The Halo Infinite reveal at the Xbox Games Showcase was a long time coming. The release of Halo Infinite’s co-op campaign has seemingly slipped to August 2022. The co-op campaign was expected to release next month after it was delayed from the initial launch. However, last month developer 343 Industries acknowledged that it needed “more time” to work on the cooperative campaign and Forge, and cooperative missions would not be available in May as hoped. IO Interactive has today announced a series of free upgrades for Steam owners of Hitman 3, following fan criticism of the game’s arrival there last week. Steam users have review-bombed the game and complained it should not have released with the same £49.99 price tag it launched with on the Epic Games Store back in January 2021. The aim assist debate for Fortnite among the community is seemingly coming to a close. Epic plans to sunset the “Legacy Look Controls” for controller players on March 13, 2020. The battle royale supports cross-platform play, one of the first games to do so, which is why fans have often argued the fairness between precision aiming on a mouse and keyboard, and aim assistance on a console.
