Fortnite Chapter 2, the 11th season of the battle royale, is going to be running for a while longer than players may have expected. Epic Games recently confirmed that Chapter 2 will now be extended all the way through February 2020. This is due in part to Epic’s routing plans for a 14-day holiday event, but hopefully the team is getting some holiday rest, too. To assuage Fortnite player worries, Epic promised new features and rewards in Chapter 2’s second half....

A new leak has revealed the latest weapon to enter into Fortnite just might be a freeze trap. Fortnite season 6.0 just recently launched, and with it came bytes upon bytes of data for data miners to get to the bottom of. While the patch notes provide us with tons of info on what to expect in the current season, such as pets, new skins, and invisibility-granting shadow cubes, what’s not in the patch notes can be even more revealing for those who know how to access encrypted code....

Nvidia announced some exciting news for Fortnite today during its Ampere event reveal. The popular battle royale is finally receiving RTX ray tracing and DLSS support, and the features are coming this month. An in-engine cinematic video debuted alongside the announcement showing off the Fortnite ray tracing effects. They certainly add a nice touch to the game, and the DLSS will provide some serious performance gains for Nvidia RTX users....

Epic has revealed the start of the next season of Battle Pass content for its enormously popular battle royale shooter, Fortnite. It’ll kick off this Thursday coming. Making the announcement via a tweet last night, it follows an ‘Unvaulting’ event over the weekend that marked the end of Season 8 and saw map locations Retail Row and Tilted Towers decimated by a volcano. There were some issues during the event however, and as a result Epic has pledged to give anyone who logged into the event during the weekend a free Arcana Glider to make good (anyone who previously purchased said glider will get their V-Bucks refunded to them)....

Fortnite has had a huge impact since its release thanks to its steady stream of new content and it is now providing players with more items. The latest crossover with Star Wars is set to please fans and coincides with the release of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The new Star Wars game is being met with a lot of excitement, and this will surely transfer over to Fortnite with the new skin it is offering....
