IO Interactive, the Danish developer behind the critically acclaimed Hitman, is working on a brand new IP, according to a job listing on their site.
They’re currently on the lookout for a Gameplay Programmer that has experience with ‘AI, physics, animation and game mechanics for AAA games and experience from projects on current gen consoles and PC.’
The ad originally stated that ‘the team is currently working on an new unannounced IP and is responsible for prototyping different mechanics for the Hitman team,’ but seems to have been changed after it caused a bit of a stir, but thankfully those eagle-eyed lot at NeoGAF spotted it.
Last year’s Hitman revitalised that series, so there’ll be many that want to know more on this and as soon as we know, you’ll know.
