Halo 5 Day One Update Is 9Gb

Halo 5: Guardians’ day one update will weigh in at a chunky 9GB, 343 studio head Josh Holmes has confirmed on Twitter.

The update is mandatory for anyone looking to get online, including a host of multiplayer and map content.

Those buying digitally will be able to pre-download and install the update so it’s ready to go at launch, whilst disc owners will need to grab the update once the game is in their possession.

Halo 5: Guardians launches October 27.
