Arc System works has announced that beat-em-up Guilty Gear: Strive is finally coming to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles in Spring of next year.

Not only that but the news, announced during last week’s Tokyo Game Show, also come with the bonus that the game will release straight onto Xbox Game Pass.

The game originally arrived on PlayStation consoles in June of last year – and is the latest entry in the long-running fighting series.

Guilty Gear: Strive – Xbox Game Pass release window

While a specific date wasn’t offered, Guilty Gear: Strive will arrive on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles in Spring 2023. It’ll also be available from day one on the Xbox Game Pass service.

It’s not clear at the time of writing if all the DLC currently released for the game on PlayStation will also be making its way to the Xbox – but we’d be very surprised if it didn’t.

It was also announced earlier this year that cross play is coming between PC and PlayStation as well during Season 2 – and this is another feature that we’d be very surprised if it didn’t make it into the Xbox release.

There doesn’t seem to have been an announcement so far to confirm, but we’ll update should we get one.

Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator & Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator 2 rollback netcode

It’s not the only Guilty Gear news either – as the developer has also announced rollback netcode is coming to two of the older titles in the series on Steam.

Both Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator and it’s sequel Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator 2 will get a major update later this year to add the feature and introduce “smooth online play”. It’ll kick off with a beta, scheduled to take place in Late October.

You can check out a trailer for that below.

Guilty Gear: Strive is currently out now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
