Several days ago, Ghost Recon Breakpoint was met with some backlash after releasing Time-Savers in the in-game store during Breakpoint’s early access period. The controversial microtransactions were immediately removed after the backlash. In a statement released by Ubisoft, the publisher clarified that it was not its intention to release certain Time-Savers during the game’s early access period, which led to their immediate removal from the in-game store.
Moreover, during last June’s E3 conference, Ubisoft announced in its press conference that The Terminator will make an appearance in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. In its Year 1 Roadmap, Ubisoft unveiled that Breakpoint’s main story episode, Operation Greenstone, will commence immediately during release and will run until January 2020. At the end of the first episode, the game will introduce The Terminator during a live event.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint is out now for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Stadia version also in development.
