Genshin Impact: The Theater Mechanicus’ Peace Talismans, challenges, and difficulty levels

Open Genshin Impact‘s event panel and go to Lantern Rite -> Theater Mechanicus to see the current phase and various difficulty levels.

“We’ve Only Just Begun”

The Theater Mechanicus is currently at the “We’ve Only Just Begun” phase. That’s like matching with someone on Tinder, but no one’s made a move yet. That’s fine as long as you’re not r/niceguys material.

I digress. Anyway, here’s the relevant info/limitations for the Theater Mechanicus from stage 1 to stage 3:

  • Difficulty levels: 2/3/4
  • Maximum Veneficus Mechanicus (tower) level: 4/5/6
  • Maximum Veneficus Sigils: 900/1050/1200 – Make sure to spend your sigils on the best tower upgrades before reaching the cap so they don’t get wasted. You can play more mini-games to earn extra sigils afterward.

Note: Additional Theater Mechanicus stages, difficulty levels, tower levels/upgrades, and Veneficus Sigil caps are unlocked in the coming days or upon reaching a new Festive Fever stage.

Likewise, here are the Theather Mechanicus challenges and Peace Talismans that you can earn:

“Guests Flock From Afar”

Requires the following:

  • “Guests from Afar” stage of Festive Fever reached
  • “Currents Deep Beneath the Lanterns” quest completed
  • All requests under “Lantern Rite Tales I” completed

Theater Mechanicus challenges and Peace Talismans that can be earned:

“Glow of a Thousand Lanterns”

  • “Glow of a Thousand Lanterns” stage of Festive Fever
  • “Light Upon the Sea” quest completed
  • All requests under “Lantern Rite Tales II” completed

Stand By Me and Xiao Market

The Peace Talismans you amass from the Theater Mechanicus mini-game have two uses. First, you can spend these in the Xiao Market for various items.

Alternatively, you can make sure that you’ve already reached the “Glow of a Thousand Lanterns” Festive Fever stage. You can then spend 1,000 Peace Talismans for one 4-star character. You can choose from Xiangling, Xinyan, Beidou, Ningguang, Xingqiu, or Chongyun.
