The Sacred Sakura, a shrine to the fox spirit and giant cherry blossom trees, is a fixture in Genshin Impact that you’d want to take a look at. It provides several boons, a bit like the Frostbearing Tree from Dragonspine. The difference is that you’ll use the Electro Sigils that you’ve collected to increase your favor with it. Genshin Impact: Sacred Sakura favor, upgrade perks, and rewards guide
The Sacred Sakura can be found in the Grand Narukami Shrine at the northern portion of Narukami Island. You’ll visit this area as part of “The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia” Archon Quest.
It’s also the first time that the Traveler encounters Yae Miko. Oh, and this spot also happens to have no less than five Sakura Bloom nodes if you need the material to boost Ayaka.
Anyway, the Sacred Sakura requires Electro Sigils to level up your favor. This resource can drop from treasure chests, bounty completions, and as quest rewards. For each favor level up, you’ll obtain various rewards such as gold, ores, crafting materials, talent materials, and more.
Note: The remaining rewards won’t appear until you’ve increased your Sacred Sakura favor rank further.
Another important facet of the Sacred Sakura are the perks that you can unlock. The first one, Electrograna, is already available from the start. It allows you to grab Electrograna (i.e., the floating orbs from Thunder Boughs) so you can pass through Thunder Barriers or use the grapple to reach higher places. This mechanic is actually quite important if you’re collecting Electroculi.
Most of the remaining perks further buff the effects or duration of Electrograna. For instance, the “Coordinated Attack” mechanic enables lightning bolts or lightning blasts to proc from Electrograna when your Electro characters deal damage. In any case, I’ve listed the remaining perks below:
