Gears of War Ultimate Edition will come to PC, The Coalition boss Rod Fergusson has confirmed.
Speaking at the E3 PC Gaming show, Fergusson confirmed a PC release and shared more details. “We built everything from the ground up,” he said. The Ultimate Edition will feature improved visuals, support for 4K resolution and DirectX 12, and no framerate locking.
One thing that isn’t clear is when the PC game will release, as it wasn’t confirmed whether it will launch alongside the Xbox One version on August 25.
With regards to Gears 4, Fergusson was even more coy. “Nothing to announce. Maybe we can talk about it at a later time.”
