Gears of War 4 will release holiday 2016 on Xbox One, Microsoft has announced.
Revealed during the Xbox E3 2015 conference, Gears of War 4 appears to star a new character named JD and a new female soldier.
A world premiere gameplay demo showed off a new dog-like enemy, as well as weapons including the chainsaw assault rifle, shotgun and pistol.
The UI looks the same as previous Gears titles.
