The latest Fortnite update is now available for download, the main highlight being a new Pump Shotgun for Battle Royale mode in both Epic & Legendary flavours.

From the look of things (and this is probably the gun aficionado in me coming out), the Pump Shotgun appears to be based on the SPAS-12, a real-world Shotgun that is popular among military folk. You’ve probably seen it in a few films, too.

Elsewhere, developer Epic Games has also released a new Limited Time Mode called Team Rumble. Here, the first team to dispatch 100 enemies will bag a Victory Royale.

Save the World players can get to grips with a new Constructor, Airheart, who comes equipped with R.O.S.I.E., aka the Rotating Omni-directional Sentry Integrated Exoskeleton. There’s also a new melee weapon in the form of a shovel, while Act 2 of Canny Valley is now live and kicking.

As always there’s a coupe of bug fixes also doing the rounds, so hit up the full Fortnite update 6.31 patch notes for more info.
