Epic Games has re-launched Fortnite’s troubled Playground limited-time mode following a series of technical mishaps.
Playground did actually roll out last week, although it was marred by matchmaking issues that forced Epic to pull it offline and patch things up. In particular, users noted lengthy queue times when trying to get into a match.
In case you aren’t up on all things Fortnite, Playground allows you to put your creative skills to the test in a relaxed setting, and things now seem to be running a lot smoother than before.

All the same, Epic has warned users that they might encounter some issues due to the high number of players. Should this happen, it recommends setting your region to ‘auto-select’ and re-queue.
In addition, the former Gears of War developer has now implemented a 60-minute time limit on matches to help cope with the demand.
