Fortnite players were surprised to see fake video game baddie Wreck-It-Ralph make an unexpected cameo in the Epic Games shooter this week.
It’s only brief, but still made people sit up and take notice, unless you don’t happen to know who Wreck-It-Ralph is. He appears at Risky Reels, at the large drive-in movie screen and waves at you before disappearing.
Presumably this is teasing some sort of crossover event, as Thanos (another Disney-owned property) briefly turned up in Fortnite earlier this year.
The timing is pretty spot on though, as Ralph Breaks the Internet is out in US cinemas now and arrives in the UK next week.
Hopefully Epic will say more about the big fella’s inclusion in Fortnite soon enough.
